Anna Georgiou

Anna Georgiou is currently a PhD student in Political Philosophy at UCLouvain Saint-Louis Bruxelles under the supervision of Dr. Quentin Landenne. Her doctoral work explores the concept of academic freedom and institutional autonomy in higher education, particularly with regard to two paramount paradigms of Western political and educational thought that aim to reform the Idea of University: Bildung and Learning Society. She holds a BA in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics (First Class) and an MA in Philosophy (Distinction) both from the University of Warwick. She also holds an MPhil in Education, Globalization, and International Development from the University of Cambridge. Her research is supported by the European Research Council.
